Whispers of Crime (February 2025)

by/par Paul McCarthy, Poet Laureate / Poète lauréat

Whispers and shadows in silence deep; Crime Stoppers stands where secrets don't sleep.

A call, a tip, a truth set free: bringing justice where none could see.

No badge, no gun, yet power untold. A voice in the dark brave and bold.

Anonymous hands light the way, guiding the law night and day.

For every crime that lingers near, they offer hope and quiet fear.

Prevention shield unseen but strong, correcting to right what once was wrong.

And when streets cloaked in doubt, justice will always tout.

One call, one tip is all it takes, to mend our province, crime forsakes.
