What is a Data Coordinator?

The Data Coordinator role is a new position at each Crime Stoppers chapter and is overseen by the Director of Digital Media Services. These members are technologically savvy and are often closely associated with the Chapter Secretary or another member of the immediate Chapter Executive. The role can be shared among multiple members of the Chapter.

Data Coordinators will:

  • Validate that a chapter member is in good standing before they are permitted to the official applications of the organization;
  • Notify the Chief Data Coordinator when a member has left the organization or has been suspended/removed;
  • Assist fellow members with gaining access to technological applications (BoardEffect and Zoho Connect);
  • Ensuring that Membership Information for all chapter members is correct and submitted via InfoDocs (https://www.infodocs.ca) on a monthly basis;
  • Be familiar with the various applications and where to find applications;
  • Provide in-chapter training to members on technological applications;
  • Monitor the email address of the Chapter (@crimenb.org) and collaborate with fellow Data Coordinators on Zoho TeamInbox;
  • Gather material/news from the Chapter for inclusion in NBCS-ECNB InfoBulletin and on our social media platforms;
  • Maintain credentials for Teamup to add, modify, and delete calendar entries for public events and on their respective chapter calendar;
  • Be a local champion of myCollab Centre.
